Something awesome is about to happen: Start it @kbc is very proud to announce its second Belgian Demo Day. Mentioned by many investors attending the first edition it being the best startup event of the year. So, you might as well check off March 30th in your calendar right now, because you definitely do not want to miss this!
What is Demo Day?
Demo Day basically refers to the day where 15 startups will present themselves during a 3-5 minute pitch, in the hopes of finding investors, partners, reference customers. In the build-up to this day, 25 startups (out of which 15 will be selected) will get vital training on how to build up their story and pitch it in front of 300 people.
Pitching coach Justine Harcourt de Tourville provides workshops on storytelling and pitching, actress Kim Hertogs coaches on stage performance and VC Frank Maene will perform an investor check on the slide deck.
Additionally, Demo Day is a great opportunity for both sides of the story.
Because it’s not only great for startups in need for investors, but also for the investors themselves. After all, they are provided with unique chances and brand new opportunities: they all get the chance to meet up with innovative companies – whether it is for a partnership, or for acquiring something they need.
